Yesterday, we left Bocas Del Toro and traveled to Boquete. It was a long travel day that started with a boat ride, then a long wait, a 4 hour bus ride, a taxi to get a rental car and then errands before landing at our farm stay.

The farm primarily grows coffee, but also has bees and a butterfly garden. Definitely increasing our level of relaxing despite the erratic weather.

After a lovely breakfast provided here, we got up and wandered the gardens. It feels like a botanical gardens, with bee informational displays, many fruit trees and manicured landscapes.

We did urgently need to run some errands, as it is a lot colder here than we thought. I didn’t have enough warm clothes and we needed to buy some foods.
The butterfly gardens were lovely, and we saw so many different types of butterflies. The tow most common being the Blue Morph (picture above, although you can’t see the blue) and the morph.
The gardens are loaded with birds, mostly Colibre (Spanish for hummingbird).
Tomorrow we head out with a birder in search for the elusive Resplendent Quetzel.

Every days a rainbow in Boquete!! ❤️
