We took a day trip tour to Los Tuneles, which we have read that it is the best snorkel spot on Isabela, maybe all of the Galapagos.
After eating some oatmeal for breakfast, we headed to the tour company to get outfitted with wetsuits and fins. We used our own masks as the last tour masks sucked.
After hurry up and waiting for like an hour, we headed out in a boat. The ride was about 45 minutes, and the surf was rough. Ash normally gets sea sick, but she has patches that are helping a lot.

We snorkeled for about 90 minutes seeing countless sea turtles, plus quite a few eagle rays, a sea lion, blue footed boobies and three types of shark – white tipped reef sharks, black tipped reef sharks and galapagos sharks. The tour sometimes sees seahorses and manta rays but we didn’t see any. But we did see a lot of turtles, maybe 50? 75?
The guide took pics underwater and we grabbed those.
