We are getting really excited, as we head out to vietnam on March 9th for three solid weeks of adventure. And this time we are doing it different….when we went to Indonesia we gamed most of it out before we left. While we had a blast, we sort missed the traveling in action like we have done for other trips. So this time around we have no set plans. We are trying to find a hotel for the first couple of nights….but after that we don’t really know what we will do, just when and where we leave (Dananag, April 2nd).
We do have a few places we want to visit (Cat Tien NP, Da lat, some beaches, Hoi An) but we will see as we go. I am particularly excited about getting a bespoke suit made in Hoi An, and Ash wants to see (no surprise) birds!
We leave on the night of March 9th – fly to Seattle, then Taipei, then Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)….we used miles so are going business class, which for a 20 hour plus journey a must! On our way home, we are stopping in Hawaii for a week to hang with our family for my mother’s 70th birthday! Happy birthday mom!
